LLamasoft Renews Strategic Partnership Agreement with Business Modelling Associates
Johannesburg (July 12, 2019) – LLamasoft, the leading provider of enterprise supply chain design and decision-making solutions, has announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with prominent South African consulting and solutions development firm, Business Modelling Associates (BMA) to act as a reseller for the LLamasoft suite of products.
BMA, a Level 1 B-BBEE company with 51% black ownership, will continue to support LLamasoft’s existing customer base in the sub-Saharan Africa region and seek opportunities to extend the company’s presence in this growing market, helping large enterprises gain insights to make better business decisions.
BMA’s recent acquisition by Transnova (Pty) Ltd, and the investment by Letsema Holdings into Transnova, means that the growing organisation is well positioned to represent the leading supply chain optimisation solution in the local markets. The addition of LLamasoft technology to the independent supply chain and logistics advisory firm enhances the existing offerings of strategic planning, design, management and execution of customers’ supply chains that Transnova and BMA have been offering into the region over the past decade.
“Organisations operating in the sub-Saharan Africa region face opportunity and adversity in equal measure, with supply chain representing an important competitive differentiator in this growing yet challenging market,” said Slimane Allab, Senior Vice President and General Manager of LLamasoft EMEA. “I am delighted to be partnering with the leading consulting firm in the Southern African market to bring the power of LLamasoft’s advanced analytics, modelling and optimisation platform to ensure their customers make the right decisions quickly and with confidence as they pursue transformative growth in the region.”
LLamasoft has supported supply chain optimisation initiatives for 92 percent (23 out of 25) of the global companies recognised as part of the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 for 2019. Furthermore, 60 percent (9 out of 15) leading European companies listed in Gartner's 2019 Supply Chain Top 15 for Europe have utilised LLamasoft supply chain software.
“Renewing the relationship with LLamasoft will further strengthen our ability to help clients systemically and holistically model their end-to-end operations, analyse what-if scenarios and explore how potential changes affect service, costs, investor returns, sustainability and risk,” said Transnova COO, Carsten Schubert. “By giving them the ability to visualise, analyse and optimise their key decisions, the combination of our expertise and LLamasoft’s advanced technology gives our clients a real edge over their competitors.”
